Kent Berk was born in Denver, Colorado, and moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1972. He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in business/finance in 1988. Kent graduated with magna cum laude and order of the coif honors from Tulane Law School in 1992. He then held a judicial clerkship with the Hon. Sherman G. Finesilver, Chief Judge, United States District Court, Colorado.
After his clerkship, Kent joined the then second largest law firm in Arizona, O’Connor Cavanagh, where he handled all types of disputes, litigation and arbitrations from 1993 to 1996. Always wanting to own his own business, in 1996, Kent started his own law firm, now Berk & Moskowitz, P.C. Since then, Kent has regularly handled all types of disputes, lawsuits and arbitrations, with particular emphasis on real estate, probate, estate and will, insurance, debt collection, business and contract.
Kent is also a co-owner of AZ on the Rocks – Indoor Climbing, Inc.; Director, Arizona Mortgage Lenders Association; Former President and Director, Council for Jews With Special Needs and former Little League Baseball Coach.
